Alcohol increases the risk of cancer

Apparently, the impact of alcohol is very dangerous for health. Not only will interfere with liver function, but the variety of the latest research, proving that alcohol, liquor, and the like destroyed some bodily functions.

One study that was recently disclosed by researchers from the University of Southern California (USC) suggests that alcohol may increase the risk of cancer in women, especially on an already entered menopause.

An assistant professor of Keck School of USC health department, Veronica Wendy Setiawan, said that alcohol consumption increases the hormone estrogen in women during menopause that can spur the risk of cancer, especially in her female organs. According to the National Cancer Institute, cancer of this type include the type of cancer that commonly found in women.

This study involved 41,574 women, especially those who enter the menopause, from various ethnic, African Americans, Japanese Americans, Latin America, Hawaii.
